Triads for guitar in A Major

This is a collection of diagrams showing the triads from A Major on the guitar fretboard. A triad is a three note chord. The triad is formed from the 1st, 3rd, and 5th scale tones. The A Major tones in a triad are A (1st), C# (3rd), and E (5th). You are playing different inversions as you move up and down the neck with these three tones.
